My Definitions: pictorial presentation

My brief definition of artistic descriptions

When used by the spectator (viewer), in analysis of what is looked at in terms of the whole ‘pictorial presentation’, it might take the form of:

Poetry which has a smoothing format on paper, even when the words are read in the privacy of ones mind.

On the other hand, Music has a turbulent format on its scored sheet, and much so, when its played out loud.

Examples:

Poetic pictorial presentation

The flagellation by Piero della Francesca
The Flagellation by Piero della Francesca (1455-1460)
